Buying costs you nothing in progress: both builds keep the library in the same file, so the full app opens with your videos, folders, favourites and watched marks already there — no second scan.
18+. RollMyLibrary is a file-management tool. It ships with no content of any kind, and only organises media files you already own and are legally permitted to possess.
Questions
Does it move or change my files?
Only if you ask it to. The Randomizer never touches your files — it indexes them and hands them to your player. The Organiser shows a full preview of every move before anything happens, and has one-click undo.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Thumbnails and hover previews use ffmpeg, which the installer can fetch for you (optional, about 40 MB); skip it and the app offers to download it the first time you ask for thumbnails. For playback, pick your player in Settings: VLC, MPC-HC, MPC-BE, PotPlayer, mpv, any .exe you point it at, or whatever Windows already opens video files with — which needs nothing installed at all.
Is there a free version?
Yes — RollMyLibrary Free. A portable download with no licence key and no time limit. It is limited, not timed, so you can keep it as long as you like. It scans your folders, builds your library, and lets you browse, search, filter and sort it, so you see it work on your own files before spending anything. Playing a video, the weighted picker, Roulette, playlists, tags, Smart Views, Up Next, the duplicate finder, stats, thumbnails and the Series Organiser are the full app. Full comparison above.
How many PCs can I use my licence on?
Three at a time. Deactivate a machine from inside the app (Ctrl-K, then “License / Activation”) to free a seat, then activate another. If a PC is dead or wiped, contact support and we'll free the seat for you.
Does it need an internet connection?
Once, to activate your licence. After that the app verifies the licence locally and works fully offline. It re-checks online roughly every 14 days, quietly, and a failed check never locks you out. Beyond that the internet is used only if you choose to fetch online metadata for auto-tagging, or let it download ffmpeg. The free edition never contacts us at all.
Does it upload anything or track me?
Never. There is no telemetry, no account and no cloud. Your library index stays in a local file on your PC.
How do I get my download and key?
We check each payment by hand, usually within a few hours. Then one email brings you two things: a download code, which you enter on the download page to get the installer, and your licence key, which you enter in the app.
