Terms of Sale

The agreement between you and us when you buy a licence. Your legal rights as a consumer come first — nothing here removes them.

Last updated: 24 August 2026

These terms cover buying a RollMyLibrary licence from this website. They do not replace your legal rights as a consumer, which cannot be signed away. How you may use the software is covered separately by the Licence Agreement.

1. Who you are buying from

Trader: [TRADER LEGAL NAME] trading as RollMyLibrary
Address: [TRADING ADDRESS — street, town, postcode, United Kingdom]
Email: support@rollmylibrary.com
VAT: [VAT NUMBER, or "Not VAT registered"]

2. What you are buying, and what it costs

  • A lifetime licence for RollMyLibrary, for Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, valid on up to three machines at a time, including future updates.
  • £9.99, one payment. Not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel and nothing that renews. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any tax due.
  • A free edition is available and never expires, so you can try the software on your own files before spending anything.

3. How the contract is made

  1. You enter your name and email and choose PayPal or Revolut.
  2. You pay.
  3. We check the payment landed. This shop is one person, so that check is done by hand — usually quickly, sometimes a few hours.
  4. We email your download code and licence key. The contract is formed when we send that email, not when you pay.

If we cannot fulfil your order we will refund you in full.

4. How it reaches you

Delivery is by email to the address you gave us, so please make sure it is right — a typo means we have to find your payment by hand. Nothing is posted. If your email has not arrived within 24 hours, contact us with your PayPal or Revolut payment reference and we will sort it out.

5. Your right to cancel — and how you give it up

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you would normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase and get your money back.

Digital content is different. At checkout we ask you to tick two boxes:

  • that you expressly consent to us supplying the licence immediately, inside those 14 days; and
  • that you acknowledge you will lose your right to cancel once we have supplied it.

Once we have sent your licence key, the 14-day right is gone. That is the trade for getting it in minutes rather than a fortnight.

If you do not tick those boxes, we cannot supply immediately, and your 14-day right stays intact. If you change your mind before we send the key, email us and we will refund you.

Your order confirmation email repeats this in writing, so you have a record of what you agreed to.

6. If something is wrong with it

Giving up the 14-day cancellation right does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If it is not:

  • you can ask us to repair or replace it;
  • if that is not possible or we do not do it in a reasonable time, you can ask for a price reduction, up to the full amount;
  • if our software damages your device or files because we failed to use reasonable care and skill, you are entitled to a repair or compensation.

Tell us what went wrong at support@rollmylibrary.com. We would much rather fix it than argue about it.

7. Licence keys

  • Your key covers three machines at a time. Deactivate one from inside the app to free a seat; if a PC is dead or wiped, tell us and we will free it.
  • Keys are personal to you. Sharing or publishing a key can get it revoked — as can a payment that is reversed.
  • Never post your key in public. If it leaks, tell us and we will replace it.

8. Support

Support is by email at support@rollmylibrary.com and in our Discord. There is no charge for it and no time limit on it, but it is one person, so please be patient and include the exact error text.

9. Our liability

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Beyond that, we are not liable for business losses, since this software is licensed for personal use.

10. Complaints

Email us first. If we cannot resolve it between us, you can seek help from Citizens Advice consumer service or your local Trading Standards. We are not a member of an alternative dispute resolution scheme.

11. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can bring proceedings in your own courts, and nothing here takes away the consumer protections of the country you live in.

12. Your data

What we collect and why is set out in our Privacy Notice.
